I was depressed, insecure, and living in victim mode...

 

But then I learned about the power of nervous system regulation, self growth, and habits and completely changed my life. Here's my journey.

2019

Years ago I would shape-shift with whoever I was around, feeling the need to "fit in" by any means necessary. But years of faking my personality for so long left me depressed, insecure, and unsure of who *Megan* really was. From that place, I sought superficial validation instead of what I truly wanted in life. I was constantly living in victim mode and just letting life happen to me.

2020

A spiritual awakening followed by a breakup made me painfully aware that I had not been showing up as the person, partner, family member, or friend I wanted to and knew I could be. I started a deep, radical self exploration, determined to discover who I was, to show up better for my loved ones, and to create what I really wanted in life. I read self-development books, listened to podcasts, invested in coaching - it quickly became my passion. Any free time I had was dedicated to learning about healing from past experiences, rewiring subconscious beliefs, mindset, and taking radical responsibility for creating my life. 

I started actually enjoying my life and reconnecting with what really lit me up - making art, getting clear on how I wanted to show up in the world, doing yoga, being outside, spending time with my loved ones.

2020-2023

From that new energy, I met my love of my life, my fiance Luke. I pursued grad school, internship opportunities, and my dream job in my field of study. The healing work I had done built the confidence that opened doors for me where there were none. I started taking my life into my own hands for the first time.

I had finally stopped surviving my life and started consciously creating it.

2024-2025

I took my passion for self growth, yoga, and leading others and pursued my yoga teaching certification, and became a 200 hour registered Yoga Teacher. 

Then started sharing what I’d learned about self growth on my podcast, Balance with Megan, and on social media and had people interested in 1:1 coaching sessions. I was finally creating the platform to help women I had been dreaming about.

But… working full time, starting my own business, teaching yoga, investing in coaching, working toward my personal goals, having a social life, making time for family - balancing it all was A LOT and I found myself burnt out many times.

2026

So I started taking what I’d learned about nervous system regulation and rebuilt my systems, created habits and routines to help me actually balance it all.

 
Through these years of inner work I've noticed a clear distinct pattern:

➔ You can’t take consistent aligned action toward creating the life you want if you’re disconnected from who you truly are and what you want

➔ And you can’t start on the inner work if you’re stuck in stress and survival mode

This is why I created my signature method:

Regulate, Reconnect, Rise

 

Because through years of inner work, nervous system healing, and rebuilding my life from the inside out, I discovered that sustainable transformation happens in these three phases.

This is exactly how I stopped surviving my life and started consciously creating it.
